My friend
and I ran a poker tournament for our community development requirement.
We used
our budget money to purchase gift cards to give away to first, second
and third place winners. We had an amazing turnout (20-50/event).
We didn't
charge anyone to buy in, thus avoided the no gambling rule that we have
in our residence hall. Check with your supervisor to obtain their approval
prior to planning this event.
