The following are some things to keep in mind if you are thinking of making a career out of residence life or student affairs. Volunteer: Take on tasks for the good of the department. Prioritize: When your supervisor, or your supervisor's supervisor asks you to do something, give it high priority and see it as an opportunity to show your capabilities.
