Useless Super Heros

Submitted by Samuel Arrieta, Resident Assistant, Colorado State University

Hello, I hope this is something that you and your residents can enjoy, I know my residents and I did!

Description: This is a door tag I made based on what I thought would be funny, useless powers. If anything else, let this help spark your imagination to do fun things in decorating your hall. One thing that you could do to support this idea, would be to take pictures of each resident, as they try to display their "super" powers in action. Then you could put this picture up with the door tag, allowing everyone to learn each others names and faces.

Some things to note:

  1. The empty “Alias” section was left empty by me so my residents could come up with their own Super Hero/Villian name.
  2. Feel free to interchange genders for any of the super powers, just be careful to change any “his/hers, he/she” and any other gender oriented words found in the “Bio” or in the “Ability” section.
  3. Some of the “Bios” I wrote have the name inside of it, so you will need to replace Jack/Jill with the name you wish to use.
  4. If you weren’t sure, the “Sanctuary” section was meant to list the resident’s home town and/or state.

If you want any further ideas on how to maybe match your floor theme with this door tag idea, please feel free to contact me at sam_zegreat@msn.com

I would love to hear any comments regarding this if any of you use it. It took a lot of time and energy to do so I would really appreciate hearing about it being put to good use. Good luck, and enjoy!
