Supplies Needed: Map of US, Construction paper, markers

Instructions: Go to http://www.50states.com/us.htm and print out this page. Enlarge this picture until it is large enough for you to cut out the state where your university is located. Blow up a copy of the picture until it cannot be enlarged any more using an 8X11 sheet of paper. Cut out the state and use it as a stencil. Trace the outline onto construction paper and cut out the state. Write the person’s name in the middle of the state. You can also put a dot or school sticker about where your school is located and write “you are here” in small print.
