Door Tag Idea: Paint Samples

The most cheap and easy door decoration I ever made were my Paint Sample door tags. In the beginning of the year I asked my residents to fill out some information, which included their favorite color. I went to a paint store and picked up some large paint samples, which of course were FREE. I then wrote names on them with black permanent marker. They really stood out and the residents loved that I kept track of their favorite colors.
