RA
Stories: “What’s in your pants?”
One of
my most memorable nights as an RA was my first night on duty ever as
an RA. A bunch of us (RAs) were hanging out at the front desk just talking
when a guy walked by that caught our attention. My senior RA that I
was on duty with called him over and asked him what he was doing. He
avoided the question by saying that he was leaving and tried to walk
away. We asked him to come back because we both noticed something odd
in his pants (the front). My senior RA started to laugh a little bit
(who could blame him) and asked the resident “what is in your
pants?” The resident said that nothing was in his pants and tried
to put his sweat shirt in front of himself but there was no hiding it.
After the question “what is in your pants” was asked again
he pulled a full, unopened, bottle of patron out of the front of his
pants. He had to dump it out and then explain to all of his friends
waiting outside for him where their alcohol had gone. It was one of
the most creative places I have seen someone hide alcohol in my time
as an RA.
