Stories: Sometimes Residents Just Need A lot of Assistance…
Sometimes
residents just need a lot of assistance… and it takes patience as
they ask many questions that at points they could easily answer themselves.
Case in
point…one day our campus Website is not working and it is scheduling
time so no one is able to schedule. Somehow all of my residents get a
hold of my screen name and they IM me to ask me if the school Website
is back up?!?!? My point is…if you are on the Internet just go and
check it out yourself! There was also the other situation when the hall
water fountain was out. My room is in front of the bathroom and the water
fountain. As opposed to just pressing the button on the water fountain
they come to me to ask if it has been fixed!!!! Being an RA takes a lot
of patience…
