RA Stories: It Was, “Some Kind of a Leak”!

One night this past fall, I was woken up at 4:30 am by what I thought was a leak, because I could hear what I assumed to be water rushing into my room. Unfortunately, it wasn’t water; it was a male resident who was using my door as his urinal. Boxers down, COMPLETELY exposed, and reliving himself as if nothing was wrong. I asked him what he was doing and he said, “I had to.” I shut the door, as he continued to go, and didn’t know what to do. Then I opened the door again and he was standing there, finished with his business, but still there, and I asked again, “what are you doing?!?!?!!” and then he left. I called public safety and they eventually found him passed out in the middle of the hallway of the second floor. He had no idea what had happened and to this day doesn’t remember. Turns out he has a sleepwalking AND a drinking problem. Luckily, I did not have to clean my door, floor, or the hallway rug. That is definitely not in my job description.
