Overview Information

We are pleased to announce our line up of offerings for the 2010-2011 RA Coach Service!

On-Line In-service Training for RA/CAs

New for 10/11:

8 “Hot Topic” training modules in video/flash animation.
8 “Supplemental” training topics will be delivered via Powerpoint.
All with testing and automatic e-mail notification of completion.

The Mental Health in the Residence Hall Series

New for the fall semester…4 months of information on types of mental illness, how to respond, educational materials for students, case studies, and more!

The Rapid Reporter

On-line communication made easy through The Rapid Reporter.

On-line forms include: Weekly Report, Duty Report, Incident Report, Maintenance, Positive Incident Report, Damage Report, Occupancy Report Forms, Program Registration and Evaluation, Residence Hall Space Reservation, RA Duty Change, and Interview Evaluation.

Staff fill out the forms and send them via e-mail to their supervisor or another university designee.

Virtual Programming Area

176 full blown programs await staff to help them with their programming efforts. Each includes a full-blown “to do” list of what needs to be accomplished to plan and manage a program, with downloadable advertising and other supplemental information as required.

Programs are listed by the month and by category.

Stress Management Resources

Downloadable audio feed to help staff relax or fall to sleep, and exercises “to go” that teach relaxation techniques that can be used at any time.

Monthly Planning Guide

The monthly planning guide provides users with an overview of what to anticipate month by month as a RA and a member of your housing staff.

Cost for The Subscription Based Service for RA/CAs:

The cost for The RA Coach is $12.00 per RA/CA on your staff team, for unlimited access to the service for the 9 month subscription period, which begins in September and concludes the following May. Service offerings are typically live in early to mid-August.
